Title	Plugging Legacy Adapter into Nano USB

The legacy adapter has 12 pins, but the nano usb has 16 holes. If I connect pin 1 to pin 1, the bottom row rows (2 holes) of the nano usb will be open, is that correct? Also, can this program an ST M29F040B or SST39SF040 ?
